A good friend of mine called some time ago to pick my brain about starting a video production business. He and I graduated from the same college with the same degree but his life and career took him down a much different path than mine. He has done well for his wife and 3 kids but has always had the itch for getting back into video production.
First off, there is the pre-production, which has to do with the overall planning of the video. This process begins before any video is actually shot. Essentially, this has to do with the creation of things like storyboards and the like. Also, it relates to the decision of the amount of funds that is available for such a thing. Understanding how much you have to spend could make a big effect on the final look of the video and how nicely things are to run.
10) Technology is not the enemy. The professional production company that you hired knows the specifics of all the technology required to complete the video. All you need to worry about it the message you need to convey.
Take a look at your competitors. If they are using videos see if you can find out who made them. Some Producción de video companies specialize in specific types of customers or industry sectors.
Try not to make the video too boring in nature and at least sound happy. This should help to create a production that is engaging to the viewer. The video length should be around two minutes otherwise the person watching may become bored and look at others videos.
During our phone conversation, I was reminded of how hard it is to start a new business, especially a new video production business when you have a family that depends on your income. The truth of the matter is that you have to be in a position to lose for a while before you will start to win. You have to spend money for a while before you will start to earn enough money to make a living.
You need to ask yourself just who your target audience is. Understand their demographics and any other details you deem necessary. YouTube has the power to increase your traffic, but you need to understand how to use it.
Have an open mind for any potential revenue generating opportunity no matter how small the budgets are. You’ll find it much easier for your video production business to survive until the market swings back to your direction.
