5 Fitness Mistakes To Evade

Fitness is something which we all wish to have. But nowadays, life is moving at a jet speed and this has given rise to a number of factors that is taking a toll on our health and adversely affecting our fitness. Diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, arthritis, thyroid glands malfunctioning etc. are stealthily creeping into our lives, deteriorating life quality and also shortening life span.

With just 2 of us now, we were much more focused and I got some really good coaching on the basics. After a month of 1-1 time, we started increasing the intensity of the workouts and mixing in some really fun cycle classes. Somewhere within the next month, I saw a change. Not just in my appearance, but my outlook and attitude were all effected. At that point, I was hooked. I worked out consistently at the gym 5 times a week incorporating cardio, running and weights. I looked and felt good thinking this would always be my way of life.

Improve! Get better in some way. You may not always be able to do what you did as a young person but there are ways where you can become even better than you were. And I’ve seen people who were very sedentary as young people who have steadily improved their physical Fitness level as they’ve aged. One client of mine, Lisa, told me she’s (in her 60s) in the best shape of her adult life. Isn’t that what Motivacion gym is about? If you really think about fitness, isn’t it about getting better, improving and doing what you need to do to feel better about yourself and your physical body? Aren’t those things mostly about quality and not quantity?

Spend time with the people who show support. Convince your friends to get fit with you, or start making friends at your gym. When you exercise with someone, you have more fun and can create a competitive atmosphere that will keep everybody motivated. Locate people who share the same goals, so you can get there together.

When you include a regimen of fitness and exercise, it does not mean that you do not have to watch what you eat. Proper diet and nutrition is still very important. Fitness and nutrition are interdependent of each other. The foods that you eat give you the energy in order to sustain a healthy level of fitness. If you overeat the wrong kinds of foods, you will feel tired all day. You will not feel like working out. This results in a defeat of your whole intention to exercise and stay fit.

This movement most everyone knows from physical education class. It is a fairly simple exercise though the effects are tremendous. Make a habit of knocking off a few hundred each time you enter your restroom. You will be amazed at the results. Your legs, arms and core will be fatigued from this movement.

It is more like your own personal trainer as it has programs created to fit your body and the amount of exercise you can do. For those with a Wii then Wii Fit Plus is ideal. This game is perfect for the whole family as it has a range of activities for people wanting a hard workout to people who want something a bit more casual. Play Station 3 owners may want to go with the Zumba fitness games. This game has a range of Zumba routines that you can do ranging from novice to expert. There are also different dances styles to choose from so you never get bored.

Some people find simple exercise boring. If this is true for you, consider playing a sport to increase your fitness. Sports like football, baseball, basketball, snowboarding, surfing, volleyball and tennis are all exciting sports that allow you to have fun while you improving your level of fitness. Pick a sport that you really enjoy so you don’t get bored. You may even want to take up several sports so you exercise in a variety of ways on a regular basis.
